We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
With other users: Your public profile information (name, profile photo, role, verified status, skills, location preference, bio) is visible to other registered users of the platform. Your phone number, ID documents, and payout details are never shared with other users.
With service providers: We share necessary information with the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and content are stored on Supabase-managed servers. Supabase Privacy Policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
- SSLCommerz — payment processing. When you make a payment, your name, email address, phone number, and district are transmitted to SSLCommerz to generate a checkout session. SSLCommerz Privacy Policy: https://sslcommerz.com/privacy-policy/

With administrators: Asignly's internal administrators can access user content, dispute evidence, ID verification submissions, and payout requests strictly for the purpose of operating and moderating the platform.
For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or a legitimate request from a government authority in Bangladesh.
5. Google Sign-In
You may choose to sign in to Asignly using your Google account. When you do, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us via Google's OAuth service. We use this information only to create or log in to your Asignly account. We request only the standard identity scopes (email, profile, openid) — we do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google service.
Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6. Data storage and security
Your data is stored on servers managed by Supabase, with the primary database hosted in a secure cloud environment. We apply row-level security controls so that users can only access data they are authorized to see.
File uploads are stored on Cloudflare R2. Private files are never publicly accessible and are served only via time-limited signed URLs generated on demand.
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (for example, payment transaction records).
