1. About Asignly

Asignly is an online freelance marketplace operated under the name Asignly ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Bangladesh. The platform connects individuals who need skilled assistance ("buyers") with independent freelancers ("workers") across a range of academic, tutoring, writing, research, and related services.

By accessing or using Asignly at www.asignly.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Asignly. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from or provide services to persons under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account without notice.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering and to keep that information updated.

You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes. You must notify us immediately at asignly.support@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Nature of the platform and acceptable use

Asignly is a general-purpose freelance marketplace. Workers on the platform offer their time, skills, and expertise as independent contractors — not as agents or employees of Asignly.

Asignly does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the specific use to which any delivered work is put. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of any work obtained through the platform complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and the policies of any institution they are associated with. Asignly explicitly prohibits the use of its platform to facilitate academic dishonesty, including but not limited to submitting purchased or commissioned work as your own to any educational institution in violation of that institution's academic integrity rules.

By using the platform, you agree not to:

Post jobs or deliver work that violates any law or regulation
Use work obtained on the platform in violation of your institution's academic integrity policy
Engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive conduct toward other users
Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Attempt to circumvent Asignly's payment system by transacting with other users outside the platform

5. Payments, Asignly Safe Pay, and fees

Buyers make payments through the platform using SSLCommerz (card and online banking) or manual mobile money transfers via bKash or Nagad. All payments are held in Asignly Safe Pay by Asignly until the buyer confirms that the delivered work meets the agreed requirements.

Funds are released to the worker's Asignly account balance upon buyer acceptance of the deliverable. Workers may then request a payout to their bKash or Nagad mobile wallet, which is processed manually by Asignly administrators.

Asignly does not store any credit or debit card details. All card transactions are processed entirely within the SSLCommerz payment environment.

Asignly reserves the right to withhold or reverse payments in cases of confirmed fraud, policy violations, or unresolved disputes.

6. Disputes

Either party to a job may initiate a dispute if they believe the terms of the engagement have not been met. During an active dispute, Asignly Safe Pay funds are frozen and neither party may transact on that job. Asignly administrators will review submitted evidence and make a final determination on the release or return of funds. Asignly's decision in dispute resolution is final.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing between a buyer and a worker, the buyer acquires ownership of the final work product upon confirmed payment release. Each party retains ownership of any pre-existing materials, tools, or frameworks they bring to the engagement.

By uploading any content to Asignly (including profile information, job descriptions, attachments, and messages), you grant Asignly a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

8. Verification and identity

Users may optionally submit a student or employee ID document for verification. Verified status is displayed on your profile and may improve your visibility in the marketplace. Submitted ID documents are reviewed by Asignly administrators and stored securely. They are not shared with other users.

9. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate any account, at our discretion, for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or conduct we determine to be harmful to other users or the platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at asignly.support@gmail.com.

10. Limitation of liability

Asignly is a technology platform that facilitates connections between independent parties. We are not a party to any agreement between buyers and workers and are not liable for the quality, legality, or fitness of any work delivered through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Asignly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
